Smart Home, AV and Electrical Work in Frederick Since 2010
Nerical, LLC has installed smart home, audio-visual and electrical systems across Frederick County, Maryland since 2010. Christian Rogers, an electrician by trade, owns the company and is on site for most installations rather than sending a crew. We are an authorized Samsung custom installer and a listed Loxone partner, working from 6201 Dispatch Way in Frederick and covering Frederick County and the surrounding Maryland counties.
An Electrician and an AV Integrator, in the Same Van
Most companies doing this work come from one side or the other. AV integrators know equipment and subcontract anything involving a circuit. Electricians know wiring and stop at the faceplate. We have done both since 2010, which is why a job that needs a neutral wire run to a switch box, an outlet recessed behind a television, or a dedicated circuit for a rack does not turn into two trades, two schedules and two invoices. It is also why whole-home automation tends to go in cleanly here — most of what makes those systems fail is wiring, not software.

Christian is an electrician by trade and has been doing this work around Frederick for over twenty years. He is on site for most installations rather than sending a crew, which is why so many of our Google reviews name him rather than the company. If you have a question about how something should be wired, he is the person who answers it.
What We Do, and What We Don't
We install new systems, and we diagnose, rewire and reconfigure existing ones — including equipment we did not supply. We do not repair faulty equipment; that is a bench trade and we will point you toward one. We do not finish drywall, and we say so at the quote rather than at the end. Being clear about the edges saves everybody a wasted visit.

Electrical Work, Not Just Low Voltage
The circuits, the outlets, the neutral wires and the panel work are ours. That is unusual in this trade, and it is why a smart lighting job in an older Frederick house, or a television needing a recessed outlet behind it, happens on one visit instead of waiting on another contractor and a second invoice.

Listed Loxone Partner
We are in Loxone's partner directory as well, and that one is also publicly listed. There are not many Loxone partners in Maryland, which matters if you are choosing a platform — a system nobody local can program is a system you are stuck with.
